Le Torri is a historic wine estate in the heart of Chianti, where nature and hospitality have long existed in perfect harmony. The 18th-century farmhouses, first restored in the 1980s, have recently been brought back to life through a careful and respectful renovation. This transformation gave rise to The Podere, an exclusive wine resort that coexists with the estate’s agricultural soul, offering guests the most authentic Tuscan experience. With an innovative vision deeply rooted in nature, The Podere reinterprets the traditional agriturismo concept and elevates it to a new standard of hospitality—a place where elegance and authenticity come together, and every experience is designed to inspire and rejuvenate.
The estate cultivates Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Riesling Italico and Trebbiano Toscano grapes, producing wines with distinctive character, including Chianti DOCG, Chianti Riserva DOCG, Vin Santo and flagship IGT labels such as Villa San Lorenzo and Maliano. The winery is the beating heart of the entire project, where tradition meets innovation and guests can enjoy guided tastings and immersive sensory experiences dedicated to the estate’s wines.
Today, they cultivate 103 hectares of vineyards and olive groves in one of Tuscany’s most renowned wine-growing areas, between Florence and Siena. Every day, they work the land with care and respect, enhancing the unique character of the territory and its natural rhythms through sustainable farming practices and artisanal production.
Because, for us, wine begins in the vineyard. Vignaioli is an informal and slightly tongue-in-cheek way of saying that we are farmers before we are winemakers. We personally oversee every stage of the work in the vineyards, keeping production intentionally limited and guided by nature’s rhythms rather than industrial logic.
We love their honesty and their strong sense of identity. They are straightforward wines, free from unnecessary embellishment, created to express both our work in the vineyard and our philosophy of farming. We appreciate that each wine has its own distinctive personality, deeply connected to the land and to the way we interpret it every day.
We wouldn’t say they should—our wines are for those looking for a genuine connection with the land. They are born in the heart of authentic Chianti and are crafted to accompany food, conviviality and life’s simplest, most meaningful moments. Choosing our wines means tasting not just a bottle, but a piece of the landscape itself.
